HVI23 A3: Self Care 101

Course Number
CONHVI23A3:SelfCare101-1.5hrWVECTCRCON
Overview

Self-care is the practice of consciously doing things that preserve or improve your emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual health. When people talk about self-care they are generally talking about the conscious and deliberate choice to do something that looks after you and your wellbeing.

Self-care practices are as unique as each of us – there is no one size fits all solution.   There really isn’t a right or a wrong way to engage in self-care – the key is to make sure you are being intentional with self-care habits and are helping yourself in some way by doing them. The more we practice deliberately caring for our well-being, the more resilient we become, which ultimately helps strengthen our ability to cope with and manage whatever comes our way in life.

Join this workshop to look at why and how we need to care for ourselves as well as we care for all the others in our lives.
