Overview

This 2 hour preschool session will examine the new Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale-Third Edition. We will examine the similarities and differences between ECERS-3 and ECERS-R, focusing on the changes. Discussion will include general information about the six (6) subscales, scoring and the teacher's role in creating a quality classroom environment.

After session, participants will be able to:
 Recognize and name differences in ECERS-3 and ECERS-R
 Name the 3 major differences between scales
 Recognize and name quality in their classroom
