Overview
This module series has been created specically with those in leadership
roles in mind. Topics covered will include:
*Organizational climate
*Leadership in the context of Early Education
*Staff recruitment and retention
*Facilitating effective meetings
*Practicing self-awareness and reflection
*Team building
*Supporting Teachers
Objective

6.1a meets or exceeds the minimum requirements needed for their position, as applicable.

7.1a Meets federal, state, and program documentation requirements by ensuring that the program maintains accurate, objective timely, and well-organized child, family, financial, and program records

7.1.d Establishes and implements policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality of child, family, and staff.

7.2.a Works collaboratively with governing boards, advisory groups, and committees.

7.2.b uses strategic planning to ensure the long-term success and effectiveness of the program.

7.2.g Organizes and staffs the program to minimize the number of transitions and individual child or family experiences during the day and/or program year.

7.4.k Seeks, secures, and maintains collaborative partnerships that maximize resources.

7.5a Shares program philosophy, mission, and service with staff, families, and the community and encourages staff to do the same

7.5.k Supports staff in seeking knowledge of community resources in order to connect families with the most appropriate supports.

7.5.l Creates partnerships with the larger community to develop resources that support children and families

7.5q Establishes and implements policies and practices that engage families in meaningful decision-making opportunities for their child and the program.

7.6.e Understands continuous quality improvement is an on-going process linking program design, implementation, evaluation, and revision
