Overview
In this face to face training, learners will reflect on their own emotions and interactions with peers that have a professional impact on their performance, reflect on communication barriers and develop strategies for overcoming these barriers to be successful in a team setting,  reflect on their own personality traits and implications of diverse personalities in the work place, and identify strategies for professionally responding to situations in a workplace setting rather than personally. 
Objective
6.3 f. Demonstrates an awareness that personal behaviors and actions within the work setting reflect on the setting
6.3 g. Develops strategies to maintain one’s physical, mental, and emotional health
6.4 f. Knows that certain behaviors and types of communication among unfamiliar cultures can lead to misinterpretation and misunderstanding
6.4 i. Encourages the use of reflective practices
6.5 c. Recognizes the strengths and contributions of others in meeting the philosophy, vision, mission, and goals
6.5 h. Supports and promotes teamwork and trusting, respectful interactions
