Overview
This face-to-face training focuses on teaching providers the importance of building an observational practice. Learners will discuss the uses of observation and assessment for developing appropriate plans for their classroom. Learners will engage in observational and thinking strategies.

3.1 h. Shares and applies current theory, research, and policy on assessment through developmentally appropriate methods
3.5 b. Responds to the level of support an individual child needs to progress developmentally
3.5c Uses ongoing assessment to ensure environment, curriculum, guidance strategies, and approaches to learning meet children's needs
