Overview

The Down Syndrome Network of West Virginia (DSNWV) is a nonprofit organization who provides support and resources to families across the state who have a loved one with Down syndrome. In Early Intervention, our main goal is to reach as many families as possible within that birth to three range. The DSNWV can support families by providing up to date information on commonly occurring health conditions in babies and children with Down syndrome, what medical examinations need to be completed and by what age, and a network of support from other parents who can offer advice and compassion. We will discuss print and online resources for families and practitioners, financial support opportunities for extended hospitalizations or hardships, and navigation assistance through various programs for additional support.
