How to Register for the Pre-service Training – Basic Health and Safety in Childcare

The Pre-service Training is required for all those working in a licensed childcare center, childcare facility and family home providers.

1. Login to your registry account
2. Click on Training Calendar and at the top of the calendar you will see a blue box with 3 white lines on it (when you hover your mouse on it, it will say Switch To List View) click on this blue box
3. Click on the drop-down box and scroll down till you see Online and click on Self-Paced
4. You are now able to view all the self-paced courses that are available. The courses are in alphabetical order, scroll down till you see the Pre-service Training.
5. click on Get Item and then on In Cart (Checkout)
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Click Finish
7. Click on Dashboard and then you will the see the course in your To Do List, it will show as In Progress. You will have 30 days to complete the course, it will show your due date and you must have it completed by that date with at least an 80% on the post-test. If you are going to be unable to complete the course, make sure to Drop It before that date, so that it will not show as a failed course.
